Driving Directions to Sedona

From Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX):
(approximately 2 hours to Poco Diablo Hotel & Resort)
Take I-17 North to exit 298 Sedona. At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn left onto State Route 179. Continue approximately 13 miles through the Village of Oak Creek to our resort hotel in Sedona.  Poco Diablo Resort is located on the left, 1 mile past Chapel Road.

From Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (FLG):
(approximateley 40 minutes to Poco Diablo Hotel & Resort)
Take State Route 89A South for approximately 25 miles to the intersection with State Route 179 (1st roundabout)*. Turn left onto State Route 179 and continue for 2 miles. Poco Diablo Resort is located on the right at 1752 State Route 179.

Note: This very scenic route through famous Oak Creek Canyon involves a narrow 2 lane mountain pass road with several switch-backs.

Alternate From Flagstaff Arizona:
(approximately 50 minutes from Poco Diablo Hotel & Resort)
Take I-17 south to exit 298 Sedona. At bottom of the off-ramp turn right onto State Route 179. Continue approximately 13 miles through the Village of Oak Creek to our resort hotel.  Poco Diablo Resort is located on the left 1 mile past Chapel Road at 1752 State Route 179.

Traveling to Sedona by Train (Amtrak)

The nearest Amtrak station to Sedona is located in Flagstaff Arizona.  The Amtrak Station Building is located at 1 East Route 66, Flagstaff AZ 86001.  The Amtrak Station Building is currently open from 4:00 am to 10:45pm 7 days per week.  Please check for any changes prior to booking your trip.

When traveling to Sedona by Amtrak, be sure to arrange for a car rental.  The Flagstaff Amtrak Station Building is within easy reach of Hertz, Budget, Enterprise and Avis.  Local Car Rental Agency phone numbers can be found below.

Shuttle Bus Service Information

Shuttle bus service from Phoenix to Sedona, AZ can be arranged through the Sedona-Phoenix Shuttle Company.  The Sedona-Phoenix Shuttle Company offers daily scheduled stops in the Village of Oak Creek, West Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde and all three (3) terminals at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).  One-way fares are approximately $50.00 per person.
